Nik Burling Cruise

My name is Nik and welcome to my Facebook page, some of you might remember me from before, previously I worked for Cruise.co.uk for over 3 years but was given the opportunity to work in Phuket, Thailand. So from the moment I worked my months notice literally the following day I was handing my apartment keys to my landlord and flying off from sunny Birmingham. While in Phuket I helped my best friends business running a soccer school on the island in all the British international schools. I really enjoyed doing this and worked for nearly 18 months.

I have always had the travel bug and this stemmed from my mother opening up a world map one morning on the kitchen table and asking me to close my eyes spin around and then point to somewhere on the map, as it happens Connecticut North America was my random choice, so within a month I was sent away with a ruck sack on my back heading to a mentally handicapped summer camp for 8 weeks.

Now I really had the travel bug and a few years later I was on my first cruise ship to work in the shops on board, my first ever ship was Norwegian Cruise Lines MS Windward, well to cut a long story short I ended up working on many cruise ships travelling all over the world and experiencing many amazing cultures.
