Nigel Alexandre Salons were established in 1961. For many years we have been highly respected in the hairdressing world. We have celebrated 50 years and over ten million haircuts since starting out in 1961...and continue at the cutting edge of our profession! Our main product supplier is Schwarzkopf. We have worked with Schwarzkopf in many countries including U.S.A, South Africa, Thailand and Brazil on seminars developing new ideas and techniques for use in our salons.

The business is family owned, and the team have won many awards over the years including the highly respected British Hairdressing award.Our work has been published in many magazines. including Cosmopolitan, Elle, Hairflair, Hair & Beauty and most hair style magazines.We have been featured in Television and Radio programmes many times, and provide a monthly hair advice feature in our local Eastern Daily Press magazine. It is our pleasure to serve many well-known celebrities from the world of television, theatre and sport.Nigel Alexandre Salons were voted "Best Hairdressers" by Evening News Readers.We have been finalists many times at The British Hairdressing Awards (The Hair Oscars).

Hair colouring is the biggest part of our industry, and requires skill and knowledge to get the very best results. Time spent during your consultation will guarantee excellence. Our highly trained colourists will be pleased to discuss your requirements.

Hair Extensions are available in our salons; an in-depth consultation is required in order for you to understand the likely result and on-going maintenance costs. There are no charges for consultations.

Wedding packages are available with consultation/trial/final work at an inclusive price.
