Newcastle University Theatre Society (NUTS)

Newcastle University Theatre Society (NUTS) is one of the largest and most successful student theatre societies in the country. We put on twelve main productions a year, followed by a student drama festival showcasing original new writing from our members and take a piece of new writing to The Edinburgh Fringe Festival each year.
NUTS welcomes everyone; directors, producers, actors, costume and set designers, make-up artists, backstage, lighting, tech and stage crew - so, whether you've had years of experience or simply want to try theatre for the first time, come along to one of our events and see how you can get involved!
