Newbury Christmas Festival & Market

Inspired by the festive markets of Germany and Austria, this November and December 2016 the historic town of Newbury will host a new Christmas event, with New organisers, centred on a large lively Christmas village in Victoria Park which will, of course, incorporate a quality Christmas market of over 60 chalets. With the aroma of mulled wine, roast chestnuts and gingerbread filling the air, a dazzlingly array of stalls selling inspirational and unique gifts it is the ideal place to plan to spend time with your family and do the Christmas shopping at the same time. The park will be decorated with thousands of sparkling lights and decorations while a variety of activities including a fun fair, dry Ski Slope and other attractions will provide activities for all the family. Santa has agreed to take up residence there during his off times (during the day - he is busy delivering overnight) and there will be various live performances from local talent. The Newbury Christmas village promises to be a magical and unforgettable experience for the whole family. The village opens on 24 November and remains open through 18 December 2016.
