New Home Professional Snagging Services

I have over 40 years of building expertise of which nearly 30 has been spent as a site manager, I can visit you new build property either with you or on my own at a time that's suits you and will go through your new home and snag it from my perspective. This will involve a room by room inspection where I will list any defects I find, these range from poor plasterwork / paintwork, scratches on appliances & windows, broken tiles and underlying major issues such as lack of insulation or leaks.
If you decide to use me you should book me to go in around 2 weeks prior to your completion date as this will give the builder time to rectify the faults I will find. My inspection will vary in time due to the size of the house and can also include the exterior both above and below ground.
You may think that because you have the NHBC 10 year guarantee that you are covered but in most snagging case's its down to you to find any problems and point them out, now obviously the builder will not help you in any way as its not beneficial to them to have people tied up doing snagging work.
I will photograph any major defects, place coloured adhesive dots on the plaster/paintwork to make it easier for the tradesmen to see what needs sorting, also I will produce a report or checklist and send you a copy and also e-mail one to the builder, I will also accompany the site manager around if you so wish to show him what I find.
My aim is make your move in to your new home as stress free as possible, as the last thing you want is to get all your possession's and furniture moved in only to have major disruption when the builder finally decides to do the snagging.
My charges are £275.00 per house up to a 3 bedroom property, then £25.00 per room after that, Now you may think this is an expense you don't need but believe me for the piece of mind you will get knowing your home is in pristine condition when you move in, I think it is a small price to pay.
