National Trust Gower owns and cares for 5,500 acres of land - That's about 75% of the coastline plus some inland commons.
Gower was the first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in 1956. Within the AONB area there is over 190 miles (304km) of footpaths and over 50 miles (87km) of bridleways.
