This is myHome in England, myHome on the pond.
This pretty stone cottage is located overlooking the scenic millpond in the old part of Swanage. Swanage is in the Dorset county, two hours southwest from London. It is a lovely quiet small town by the sea. Sandy beaches, white tall cliffs, unspoilt countryside and equally picturesque and traditional Purbeck villages surround it. These can be reached by delightful coastal walks, with a special final destination: the local pub!
myHome on the pond is only five minute walk from the centre of the town, its shops and restaurants and to the bus and steam train station. However, it is situated in a lovely peaceful setting with no passing traffic. The cottage comfortably hosts five people.
On ground floor, there is a cosy sitting room with a large sofa, armchair, television/Freeview/DVD/VCR and a wood-burning stove. The dining room is separate and its bay window overlooks the garden. A small kitchen is furnished with a gas cooker and hob, microwave, washing machine and fridge freezer.
Stairs lead up to the bedrooms on the first floor. The first double room with a king size bed and the single room overlook the pond. The second double room looks out onto the rear garden, which is a pleasure to enjoy during outdoor meals and relaxation. On the same floor, the bathroom is equipped with a bath, overhead shower, basin and wc.
Central heating and electricity at no extra charge. Travel cot and high chair can be provided. my Home on the pond is a non smoking cottage, it is available for self catering holiday bookings.
