Musicland Studios London

Musicland is a boutique recording studio based around a classic SSL 4000 E series console and ATC SCM 50 ASL monitors.

Simon has worked with many clients including The Front Bottoms, Apologies i have none, John Illsley (Dire Straits), Sam Russo, Group of Man, Phoenician Blinds, Blackout Problems.

We also work with a wide range of London's West End Musical Theatre talent including, Rachel Tucker, Lee Mead, Chlöe Hart, Lauren Samuels, Kara Lily Hayworth and many more.

The studio has a large range of outboard gear and synthesisers including everything from vintage pieces to modern units. There are also a large array of effects boxes including many tape delays (such as Roland Space Echo, Binson Echorec, Watkins Copicat) and Spring reverb units. The mic locker is stocked in a similar fashion.

The studio is designed to be a secluded creative environment surrounding you with all the tools you need to make a record. Due to this, we also have a wide range of backline including amps (Marshall, Fender, Orange, Selmer, WEM), keys and synthesisers (Moog Voyager, Roland Jupiter, Beckstein Piano) and drums (Mapex Saturn).

With 2 live rooms and a large comfortable control room the studio is able to facilitate many different sizes of project.

The studio also features a unique, amazing sounding echo chamber – it has to be heard to be understood! (it also doubles as our bathroom)
