The museum is based around the local children's stories of Mr George the clock man- based on a real character- with fascinating exhibits of watches and clocks through the ages. Children's activities based around the Mr George stories and also about time are spread throughout, so the museum is suitable from 2-102. Mr George story DVDs are available to watch in the main activity room.

The Gift shop stocks Mr George books and CDs, novelty and traditional toys, restored antique clocks, fairtrade gifts, and more!
