Morrell's

Our breeding herd are Belted Galloways. They are a traditional, rare breed of cattle that are small in stature, hardy and slow growing. A diet of species rich grassland and slow growth gives their marbled beef great taste and tenderness. As their name suggests, they originate from South West Scotland and are easily spotted by their broad white belt. The way they graze helps wildflowers flourish in our grassland.

We put a minimum of 10% of our arable land into specific conservation habitats including areas for bees & insects and food for wild birds
We manage our chalk dales without the use of sprays and fertilisers and graze with traditional cattle breeds
