Morecambe Bay Slings

Sings can be quite expensive to buy, and what suits one person, may not suit another, so it can be a bit of a minefield out there. Added to the fact that it can be very very daunting to someone who has never used one before. We offer a 4 week hire service for all of our slings at the weekly Morecambe Bay Sling meet.

We have a massive wealth of knowledge, and can show you in the flesh how to use your chosen sling at the weekly sling meet held at the Cornerstone Cafe on Thursdays 10:00-13:00. We also have a monthly meet running every 4 weeks on Saturdays at The Lancaster Library.

Our consultants are Anthea Manderson, Tamsin Coxhill and Abi Doughty. Our trained peer supporters are Abi Doughty, Beccy Whittle, Emily Sapsford, Georgina Sommerville, Julie Meyfroidt and Vicki Luther. We also have 3 admin: Lynn McCann, James McCann and Christina Chetney. We look forward to meeting you!

If you already have a sling and would like to meet some like minded people then come along for the social side of the meet - you don't need to hire anything to be made welcome. The coffee and cake at The Cornerstone are rather special too!

As well as the library services we can also offer 121 consultations with one of our fully trained baby wearing consultants. . These cost from as little as £15 for a 1 hour consultation in our homes, or from £25 plus mileage for a consultation in your own home. Please contact us for more details.
