WHAT IS MOMENTUM?

Momentum is the successor to the 2015 campaign to elect Jeremy Corbyn as our Labour Party leader.

Labour-focused, it aims to strengthen the Party by increasing participation and engagement at local, regional and national levels. It is committed to supporting Labour in winning elections and entering government.

Momentum Bedford covers Bedford Borough and includes Bedford & Kempston, N.E. Beds,
Mid Beds and S.W. Beds CLPs. Momentum Luton is our sister group and covers Luton North and South CLPs.

WHAT DOES MOMENTUM WANT TO DO?

● Organise in every city, town and village to create a mass movement for real progressive change

● Transform Labour into a more democratic party, with socialist policies and the collective will to implement them in government

● Bring together individuals and groups in our communities and workplaces to campaign and organise on issues that matter to us

● Organise events, rallies, meet-ups and policy consultations to encourage mass mobilisation for a more equal and decent society

● Campaign to get Jeremy Corbyn into 10 Downing Street in/before 2020
