I have been practicing mindfulness for almost 6 years now and training to teach over the last three years. My training as a mindfulness teacher certifies me to offer classes on a one-to-one basis and with groups of participants. In my personal practice I use mindfulness to work with chronic pain. My life experience and mindfulness practice has led me to help those with emotional issues and support family members of various ages with mental health issues.
My qualifications in the area of mindfulness were achieved through the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice at Bangor University. I have also attended and carry on attending seminars and conferences as part of my interest and professional development. I work to the Good Practice Guidelines for mindfulness teachers, which can be found at http://www.mindfulnessteachersuk.org.uk
