Millfield Lodge Care Home

Millfield Lodge is a purpose built Home, situated in the village of Gamlingay, on the Bedfordshire/Cambridgeshire border, offering residential, nursing and day care. Our residents are people over 65 years of age, with varying degrees of Dementia, physical health conditions and sensory disabilities.

Our highly experienced and professional care team are well trained to care for conditions that can arise when a person becomes older. We provide an very high standard of care and are known for nursing people with complex conditions.

The Home is proud to have been operating under the same management team since 1988; familiarity and consistency being so important to our residents, particularly the people with Dementia.

We do really want to get to know the people who live at Millfield Lodge and we ask residents and their loved ones to tell us about their lives, important dates and what they do and don’t like. This information can help to paint a picture of the person and their life as an individual, encompassing all their particular preferences.

We want at all times to maintain good communication and relationships with residents' relatives and friends. This is reflected in our open visiting hours.
