Military Specific Fitness was launched to provide a more effective, interactive and enjoyable alternative to group exercise and the gym. The British Military have been the leaders throughout the world in training and developing soldiers and their tried and tested methods of “group training” are the core of what Military Specific Fitness stands for. Whilst many outdoor exercise companies focus on the so-called latest equipment and fancy technology, Military Specific Fitness use traditional forms of exercise that are more effective and encourages teamwork. Our classes allow people of all fitness levels to train together outdoors in parks or woodland and truly experience the full “military certified workout”.

Military Specific Fitness (MSF) was founded in 2014 by Lance Corporal Tim Jones and Andre Nasr. Tim was until recently a member of the British Armed forces and spent time in active service in Afghanistan. Tim was also a fully qualified Army Personal Training instructor during his time with the Army. Tim was medically discharged recently having being seriously injured by a road side bomb and fought very hard to get back to full fitness. This experience left Tim with the desire and passion to help others improve their health and fitness and to motivate people to reach their targets no matter what adversity they face in their life.

We do not intend to create an aggressive or intimidating environment and it our success to date has been built on providing a fun and interactive form or training that has been proven to be effective. Military Specific Fitness runs a variety of classes across our various locations and all of them are designed for all levels of fitness. We run our classes all throughout the year and we especially enjoy training in the winter.
Personal training is also offered by Tim Jones on a one to one basis focusing on your individual needs aswell as in a group environment.
