Midlands Aerial Photography

Midlands Aerial Photography has sprung into existence due to a long standing passion of the combination of photography, and flying radio controlled drones. Put the two together and the end result is aerial photography which produces stunning alternative shots to the traditional on-the-ground perspectives.
Traditionally, aerial footage was only obtainable from helicopters and planes, and due to the restrictions surrounding these (and the cost!), this is not a realistic avenue available to most people and businesses.
This is where Midlands Aerial Photography finds its natural place.
As a result of investing in the latest hi-tech drone technology, coupled with state of the art built in camera technology, and our expertise, we are able to provide low cost stunning aerial photography that was previously only available through helicopters and planes.
Our technology allows filming to be produced from anything between Standard definition 720P, to Full HD 1080P, even up to a magnificent 2.7K resolution, at anything up to 60 frames per second. Our cameras are also controllable completely independent from the drone by the use of a live stream to an attached Tablet or I-Phone, to allow us to capture the perfect shots in any given situation.
Our ultimate aim is to provide as many people and businesses as possible with low cost access to this stunning method of photography.
Our prices are variable depending on the work and time involved on site, but as an example guide, prices start from £100 for a property shoot, spending up to an hour on-site preparing, planning and shooting. All files are then processed by ourselves and handed over to our client. We also offer a photo editing service using Adobe Photoshop, to enhance images, and for which NO EXTRA CHARGES will be made.
All types of work are considered and are not limited to the following:
Property shoots for estate agents, Property shoots for individuals, Weddings, Marketing and Promotion, Commercial Property, Project Progression – before, during and after shots, Sports, Golf course fly-overs, Agriculture, Special Events, Business Advertising (Brochure, Website, Facebook Page), Festivals, Construction, Inspection, Architecture, Boats, Bridges, Castles, Churches, Hotels, Resorts, Industry, Lakes.
We will consider travelling anywhere to carry out our services, and within a 40 mile round-trip of Tamworth no charge will be made for travel costs incurred. Anything over this will be charged at 40 pence per mile to cover the travel costs incurred.
I also carry £2Million public liability insurance to ensure peace of mind for all our customers.
In order to carry out commercial/paid work, any drone operator must have the necessary permissions granted by the CAA ( Civil Aviation Authority ) which grants a PFAW ( Permission For Aerial Work ). At the time of writing this my approval is pending so until this PFAW is granted, I will not carry out any paid work. In order to gain this approval/qualification, an intensive training course must be completed which involves theory exams, flight tests, and also the compilation of a fully CAA approved operations manual for the Drone that is to be used. DO NOT under any circumstance employ the services of an aerial photographer who cannot produce evidence of obtaining a PFAW as it is illegal for them to do this work without it, and they will not have any valid public liability insurance either without the PFAW.
