Men on Fire

So, a little bit of background, we decided as a group to take hold and drive forward the men's ministry in late 2012/early 2013 after we realised that we needed to something more for men. There was a real need and hunger within the church to have something that men could identify with and this was when 'Men On Fire' was launched, through our group we could help encourage and help men find their own true identities, their identities in Christ.

We meet every month, sometimes more and have a full range of events, from breakfasts and worship evenings with guest key note speakers, to fun events.

Always food is involved and lots of it. There is truth in the saying the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. We even have our own annual darts competition is growing year on year. We have also been able to successfully establish a 2 day men's conference called 'IGNITE' each year which is also growing and reaching in to the wider community in the NE of Scotland. This year saw guys representing places such as Elgin, Peterhead, Fraserburgh, Banff and even as far as Dundee. In 2016, we had a member of John Eldridge's Wild at heart ransomed heart ministries team across from Colorado and more recently a leader from the Antioch Church Movement, Waco, Texas who heading up our 2017 conference.

Our heart is to support men locally in the NE of Scotland, however we also want to connect and reach out to other men in the wider community.
