Melv's Weld was established in 2011

I have always been interested in scooters for as long as I can remember. With my wife's encouragement, I went out and brought my first Vespa T5 Classic in 2006. I restored it in 2007 and like many other scooterists, I wanted to personalise it.

After spending a lot of time and money on things that I needed, I found that the quality of the chrome was not of a very good standard. I decided to start again and make things for myself.

I use 316 mirror polished stainless steel and have found the results very, very rewarding. Unlike chrome it will never flake, rust or fade.
