Melts Cafe

After a years planning and restoration, this former traditional hairdressers salon has been turned into a sandwich bar, where the interior sophisticated, atmospheric décor provides the perfect setting for a slick little café/takeaway space. The interior features reclaimed and salvaged fittings, original brickwork and panelled walls.

Melts cafe is a welcomed addition to Glasgow’s Southside where the focus is on finest quality, breads, fillings, desserts, coffee and warm friendly service.

Melts take great pride in serving a delicious menu of hot and cold sandwiches, tasty & colourful salads, heavenly desserts, traditional Italian ice cream, milkshakes, 100% pure juices and smoothies.

All our sandwiches are made daily on site, and by lunchtime our cafe is bursting at the seams with delicious wholesome sandwiches, seasonal soups and salads, and an ever changing selection of cakes and desserts.

Take away one of our signatures ‘Melts Favourite’ wraps or a tasty soup and sandwich deal. You can also sit in and watch the world go by with a coffee and a delicious cake of your choice. We try to source ingredients from local producers which allows us to bring you the freshest and finest produce. Our deli counter is packed with exciting, innovative, fresh and delicious food for you to mix and match to make your own perfect panini, sandwich, bagel or baguette.

Our juices are all made right there in front of you. No apple, carrot or spinach leaf gets juiced until you make an order.

Our smoothies are made to order, that means if you would like to add or take something out, we can make it so it's just as you like it.
