Mark Cameron Dance/Corporate

Mark Cameron was born and raised in the North East of Scotland, where he started his passion for performing and dance.

Starting his training at the Edinburgh’s Telford College and continuing on to London Studio Centre to finalize his training.

He has performed all over the world from Paris, Tokyo, Florida, Australia, Europe and the UK.

He started his professional career working for Disneyland Paris in the world premier of Animagique. He also was a dancer/aerialist in Tarzan, Encore and The lion King in Tokyo Disney and Florida. With his passion to perform he took to the High Seas which saw Mark dance around the world, dancing on cruise lines such as Celebrity Cruises, Transocean Tours, Princess Cruises and P&O Australia. During his time on ships he took up the role of Dance Captain giving him more responsibility being in charge of casts from 8-25. His love for travelling and dancing allowed Mark to see places and dance with many different people. He worked with Cirque de solei in Vegas, Michael Curry in Paris, William Forsyth in Australia and many more. He has performed at HMT Theatre now for 4 yrs in Qdos Pantomines, Snow white, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast.

Mark also took the buzz of travelling to land and was Dance Captain on the “Best of the Musicals” Germany Tour. He has performed in many Pantomimes, plays and devised pieces around the world.

Mark has choreographed for many Scottish and UK companies.

He has worked for many years as a dance tutor/choreographer for Scottish Youth Theatre in Aberdeen and Glasgow and also stagecoach UK. He has choreographed many corporate events in the UK and Europe. (The Thebans Mary Queen of Scots, Hamlet, Chevron Oil, Barclays Bank, Bacardi)
TV and film work include Braveheart, Vodafone, Corona, Bacardi, D2 Clothing, Asda, Barclays Bank and a few music videos.

He currently teaches for Deeside Dance Centre and other studios in Aberdeen. He can be hired for corporate events as well as Hen parites and first dances.
