I have been a Hair and Make-up Artist for 15 years creating beautiful hairstyles & Pin ups and perfecting flawless make up for Brides across the North East and surrounding areas.
Using only the best of Mac Make up products to give you perfect photographic make up enhancing your natural beauty and giving you a beautiful finish that will last throughout the day and night.
I travel to the venue of your choice providing a professional service for weddings, Proms and Photo shoots I have a team hair stylists and make up artists I have to assist me with my weddings as and when I need them.
I take pride in creating the perfect day for all my clients by making you look & feel simply stunning for your special day, all you have to do is slip into your dress!

I have been lucky enough to work overseas doing weddings in Kitzbuhel, Austria and Cyprus.

For the last 6 years, I have been running a successful makeover and photography studio called Simply U Makeovers with business partner Jeff Brown, We have done hundreds of Bridal lingerie shoots, Model portfolio’s, Family & Teen Makeovers.
I love my job and feel so lucky to be doing something I enjoy everyday!

Terms and Conditions of Booking:

My wedding dates are subject to availability and are booked on a first come first served basis. To book your wedding date you MUST pay a 50% booking fee to secure the date and my services for your wedding, the booking fee is non-refundable.
The balance of the total cost MUST be paid 30 days prior to the wedding date. We do not guarantee our attendance where our fee has not been paid by the due date.

Cancellations
You may cancel our engagement at any time by giving us written notice but you ill still be liable to pay our fees which will automatically become due within 7 days of the cancellation notice, as follows:

Number of days before wedding day
180 days notice or more from wedding day

120-179 days Booking Fee + 8% of the balance
91-119 days Booking Fee +20% of the balance
90 days and under Booking fee + 100% of the balance

Creative direction: Our part in making your big day special

As a professional hair & make up artist we will use our experience and artistic skills to create the look you have requested for your wedding. All of our assignments are personally taken by Marissa herself and her qualified assistants. In the unlikely event that Marissa is unable to attend your wedding date due to unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to appoint another Make up artist to attend on our behalf.

Make Up Allergies

It is the responsibility of the client to inform the make up artist of any allergies or reactions they may have to a particular product. We use primarily MAC Make upon all our professional makeovers as it is a widely tried and tested product and the main choice of the professional make up artist, therefore we can not be held responsible should you have a reaction to any of these products.
