Just to answer the numerous messages and questions we're getting I hope this helps a little.

BAITS
We're asking people to be sensible regarding baits - use natural baits where possible, don't use anything that will sit in the water for ages and don't overdo ground bait.

There's no keep nets, use barbless hooks and please help to keep the site tidy.

Gates Open from 8am to 8pm every day - just let us know if you want to come a little earlier or stay a little later and we can usually arrange it for you.

Day tickets are
£6 one rod or £8 two rods. Ticket allows you to fish Lake and River - you can swap over as much as you like during the day depending on how busy it is.

Junior anglers are welcome, but must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.

STOCK
The lake is stocked with;
Carp - Mirrors, Common, Ghost and a few Grass.
Theres a mix of Barbel, Chub, Roach, Rudd, Perch, Tench, Bream and no doubt a few hybrids of Koi, Goldfish, Orfe.
The fish are a good mix of size from a few pounds, to over 20lbs and lots in-between.
The Largest Carp known to be caught was in 2008 @ 33lb.

SETTING UP
The whole site is monitored 24/7 by a CCTV system so just set up and then we'll give you chance to settle in before coming to you to collect monies and issue tickets.
