The local child friendly pub is just over a 5 minute drive and situated in the picturesque village of Llangyndeyrn and serves great food and good beer- conveniently we have a lovely neighbour who is a taxi driver!

The country lanes are perfect for bike rides or walks, with many footpaths and bridle paths along the way, perfect for spotting wildlife or picking blackberries in the summer months or collecting holly during the winter! Enjoy the surrounding views where often you will catch racehorses in training on the sand gallops just in front of the property. Beaches, castles, museums, costal parks, gold mines, historic railways, country parks, dry ski slopes, Ffos Las racecourse, golf clubs, nature centres, local markets, theatres, health spas, bars, restaurants, indoor bowling, a cinema and some great shopping are all on offer in the area. The village of Laugharne, made famous by writer Dylan Thomas is only a short drive away with the well know theme park Oakwood and the much loved 'Folly Farm' just under an hours drive.
