LUMA Film Festival

LUMA Film Festival 2017 will take place on the 17th and 18th of June at the University of York's Department of Theatre, Film and Television.

Through two days of free events using the department’s state-of-the-art facilities - including presentations and masterclasses from industry professionals, practical training workshops, and screenings of student film - LUMA celebrates the work of the department’s students, and opens up the fascinating world of filmmaking to the public.

Work from the festival has gone on to be exhibited at festivals around the UK and abroad, including at the BFI and as part of Raindance Film Festival.
