Low Waters Veterinary Centre has been providing Hamilton with affordable professional veterinary care for more than a decade. We appreciate that your pet is an important member of your family and we are dedicated to offering the best possible veterinary care.

Our main full time vets are:

Lesley Thomas BVMS MRCVS - Lesley qualified from Glasgow university in 2004 and has been with the practice since 2005. Lesley has a 5 year old Staffie called Alfie, who was taken on as a pup. He has a congenital problem with his knee and hip and has had several specialist surgeries to help. He often comes in to work with her.

Fiona Pattison BVMS MRCVS - Fiona also qualified from Glasgow University in 2000 and has been with us since 2005. Fiona has a 4 year old rescued crossbreed dog called Jake who comes to work most days and you will usually find him sharing a kennel with Alfie. Fiona also has 2 guinea pigs.

Russell Lees BVMS MRCVS - Russell is one of the owners of the practice and currently works here one afternoon per week, being based mainly at our Baillieston branch. Russell also started here in 2005, having qualified from Glasgow University the same year. Russell has a cat called Eliza who is 8 years old.


Our registered veterinary nurses are:

Sharon Smith RVN - Sharon is our head nurse and qualified in 2000. She has a French bulldog called Ollie.

Kim Farquhar RVN - Kim qualified 15 years ago and joined the practice last year. Kim has a rescue staffie cross called Lola.


Alan Mills is our practice manager and is also one of the owners of the practice.


We also have other members of staff/students that you may meet when you are in.
