I married a Norwegian.

Then I combined my minimalist aesthetic and passion for DIY with the natural, simple and abstract styles of Scandinavia, and started lovebarli in January 2016!

Scandinavia has a pure pared back style that is centred around warm functionality, clean lines, flawless craftsmanship and understated elegance. My aim then is to replicate the simplicity, utility and beauty that is generated and lived out by the Nordic people in their every day lives.

The use of light is also considered to be extremely important in Scandinavian style and design, so my products are characterized by the use of earthy muted tones, honest materials and minimal ornamentation.

I want my business to not only bring happiness to others, but to be a window into my life and personality from day to day. That includes being detail oriented, making people happy, and helping others while still providing an incredibly high quality product.
