Louise Burgess Pet Portraits

I was born and bought up in rural Berkshire and have always had a love of animals.
In the past my own past pets have included hamsters and gerbils, rats and mice, rabbits and guinea pigs, a chinchilla, a Toggenburg billy-goat, cats and dogs.
My current animal family are my five dogs, Harvey the Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla, Basil the Border Terrier and Ruby, Monty and Hudson the Alaskan Malamutes.
I have always loved drawing and started doing pictures for friends and family as a child. This gradually progressed to commissioned work and I now specialize in fine detailed pencil drawings.
I take great pride in the accuracy and detail in my pictures and past customers have commented that they can see the life and character of their pets in the eyes.
