Living Light

Living Light is part of a larger network of Christian Community Houses joined to Jesus Fellowship Church (Jesus Army), where together we create an environment of brotherhood love and aim to live our lives in simplicity, equality & in keeping with the teachings of Jesus Christ. We are an evangelical Christian church with a charismatic emphasis and Baptist roots.

"Church? You don't look like a church"

- Church isn't about a building or pews or poetically worded hymns. It's about a people, together, real brotherhood, loving one another, helping one another. We have a host of different things happening during the week which people attend: house groups, worship times, open-house meals, prayer times, bible studies. And in between times we mostly spend together: talking, laughing, being friends. Also during the week we get together with other local Community houses to sing and celebrate, then about once a month with have a national gig with all of Jesus Fellowship Church at different locations around the UK.

"I'm not a Christian. I do bad things. You won't want me.."

- All are welcome. Whether your just interested or want to get stuck in, regardless of age/ethnicity/race/belief/sexuality. All are welcome. Come over for a cup of tea and a chat? We all mess up. All are welcome.

"What do you mean by House Family?"

- Living Light is also a home. A group of us have decided to live together and live out New Testiment Christianity in a radical and fulfilling way (Acts 2 & 4).
