History:

Lt Waltham is a pretty little village north of Chelmsford that no longer has any shops. For at least the last 10yrs there has been a monthly village craft fair/market where local crafters, cake makers, plant growers and vegetable growers come to sell their wares to the villagers.

In 2009 the market moved from the hall in Market Hill to the Little Waltham URC, The Street. In January 2011, a local breadmaker Richard Morris took over organising the event from Joy (our hand knitted and cake lady) and enlisted help to promote and run the montly market from the other stall holders.
We are very sad to announce that Richard sadly passed away in July 2012 and the running of the market has been taken over by fellow stallholders to continue expanding the market which was his vision.

Therefore from Sat 1st September 2012 we moved to a larger hall as our market demanded the space!

If you fancy joining our team, let us know by sending us a message.

If you want to pop along to see these stalls for yourself then we'll see you next month!
