Little Paws Grooming

Hello, my name is Sarah and I am Little Paws Grooming. I am a City & Guilds qualified dog groomer and I offer a home from home environment where your furry friend is treated with kindness and consideration.

Little Paws Grooming is based in the village of Stainton, Penrith. All of my equipment is modern and up to date. My dog grooming room is quiet, relaxed and private and is an ideal location for this pet service.

I understand that some dogs are apprehensive about being groomed, do not enjoy a busy environment or are uncomfortable around other dogs so I try to minimize these worries for them. I provide regular breaks, cuddles and treats along side gentle, considerate encouragement and a groom that keeps them healthy and comfortable.

I will examine your dog and discuss with you your grooming requirements. As a rough
guide grooming takes around two hours depending on the breed. Larger breeds or hand
stripping may take longer. I am happy to remove matts as long as your dog does not
become distressed. If this happens I may need to cut out or clip any matts to lessen any
distress for your dog. I would always discuss this with you beforehand.

Prices are approximate and are based on a matt-free coat. Matted dogs incur extra charges depending on the length of time spent and frequency of past grooming appointments.

I value my furry customers so much that I offer a free introduction to grooming for your
puppy. Your dog’s first full groom is not such a big deal if he or she is already used to
having paws, ears, mouth and tail touched as they would be if being groomed. He or she
will be much happier if the sounds of the clippers and dryers are familiar. This service is
free of charge, but does need to be booked.

Bookings are best arranged over the phone as I like to talk to my clients about their

£10 cancellation fee for less than 24 hours notice.
