Lishmans is a traditional butcher in Ilkley and a very popular destination for food fanatics.

I have twice been awarded the national title of Champion Sausage Maker and am very passionate about the good, honest sausage.

Lishmans are the proud creators of the official Yorkshire Sausage. After 4 months of county-wide public tastings we unveiled Yorkshire’s official signature sausage: a slightly peppery sausage containing parsley and traditional spices. We have released the official recipe to fellow butchers and many are now producing their own Yorkshire sausages according to our recipe.
