Lions Club of Chipping Sodbury

There are about 1.4 million Lion members.

The first club in the UK was formed in 1950 and the organization has rapidly expanded to more than 900 clubs in Britain and Ireland today.
Chipping Sodbury Lions Club was formed in 1971 and presently comprises 22 men & women, all of whom are volunteers.

Members come from all walks of life and across a large age range - there is no maximum age, and members can join at age 18.

The principal aim of Lions Clubs is to provide help and funds to those in need, whilst enjoying the satisfaction, fellowship and fun that can be derived from taking part.

Lions Clubs are dedicated to improving the quality of life for those less fortunate people in our community.

Chipping Sodbury Lions Club provides direct service to our community by events such as the Chipping Sodbury Street Fair & Carnival, Christmas Santa Claus float, Golf Day, Carol Concert and its main activity is in raising funds for local Charitable Purposes.
