BAGS

A large bag (40x28x19cm) requires a size 3 wrap if the entire bag is made from the same fabric, or a size 2 if a contrasting wrap scrap is used for the flap.

A small bag (31x20x12cm) can usually be made from 1.5m of fabric, so a size 1 wrap or a shawl is more than adequate. However a size two may be required for some options (e.g. two shoulder straps instead of one) or if the wrap has a very large pattern.

More fabric may be needed if the wrap has a very large pattern, so you might need to supply a wrap one size up if this is the case.

I will provide all lining fabric (100% cotton in a colour and print of your choice) and construction materials, including sling rings if required. If you do not have a wrap to convert and wish me to supply one I can do so at cost. Alternatively, the outside of the bag can be made from plain wrap fabric from Colimacon et Cie – this may be a particularly suitable option for detailed appliqué designs. Again, I can supply this fabric at cost.

The bag flap can be made from a contrasting wrap scrap – I have a selection available or you can send your own. Price varies according to scrap used if supplied by me.

Applique work is constructed using wrap scraps. I can supply these (at no extra cost if I have them in stock, or at cost price if you would like me to source them for you) or you can send your own. I charge per hour for appliqué and will provide an estimate of the cost of the work based on the design you choose. Please get in touch if you want to discuss this further.

CLOTHING

Dungarees/Pinafores in sizes 0-3m to 6yrs
(based on patterns by Puperita)

Both dungarees and pinafores are made from cotton needlecord, and are fully lined with contrasting cotton fabric. Details such as pockets, appliqué and fabric covered buttons are made from wrap scrap.

They are available in sizes 0-3m, 3-6m, 6-12m, 12-18m, 18-24m, 3y, 4y, 5y, 6y

Dungarees in sizes up to 18-24m come with poppers along the inside leg seam for easy access for nappy changes. These can be added to larger sizes for a small extra fee.

All prices are inclusive of wrap scrap pockets, fabric covered buttons and one appliqué picture. Larger or more detailed pieces of appliqué can be individually priced upon request. You can supply your own wrap fabric or choose from my selection of pieces. I am happy to source wrap fabric on your behalf, and will charge for this at cost.
