Leap Dog Agility

Agility is a fun way for both you and your dog to keep fit while improving your dog's focus and confidence. Fit, focused, confident dogs are happy dogs, which is what we are all about!

Introductory course (6 weeks)
Learn the key dog-handling techniques used in agility and how to use the agility equipment. This course will run for 45 minutes every Saturday morning and Wednesday evening from end of April.
On successful completion of the introductory course you will be eligible to attend weekly classes.

Weekly classes (ongoing through the summer)
These classes follow on from our introductory course. They will be held on Saturday mornings for 45 minutes

Young handler classes (summer holidays)
For dog handlers aged 8 to 15 we will hold 45-minute sessions on Wednesday mornings to learn the basics of agility and have fun with agility games and challenges! All under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Leap Dog Buddies
If you would like your dog to have the benefit and enjoyment of agility but you are unable to partake in the classes you might be interested in our Leap Dog Buddies service. Leap Dog Buddies are members of the Friends For Pets team who can bring your dog to our classes and train them in agility. You will receive photos and videos of your dog showing off their new skills!

Conditions
All dogs must be over one year old. Female dogs cannot attend the classes if they are in season. Dogs must know basic commands and be sociable. There will be a maximum of six dogs per class.
