Welcome to my world, my life, my home................Lane Home Studios!

Here at Lane Home Studios we aim to provide you with the best possible shooting environment, tailored to suit your every need. Whether you require natural light, studio lighting, special milk, a set built, certain music, a model, a creative body, an assistant, good old fashioned privacy or just to be able to have a smoke in the warm, then this is the place for you!

We have four rooms for shooting, many sets and some great features, including -

A pure white room - with open plan staircase, so you can shoot down onto the room

A brick feature wall

Fully equipped kitchen

Bathroom

A wet and messy area

Large windows throughout the house - which is south facing and gets great natural light

A dark purple room - with bedroom set, large floor to ceiling wall of glass - with sliding doors that lead on to a balcony

A red room - one wall is a built in wardrobe made of mirrors

A comfortable, private dressing room, with hair dryer, straighteners, curlers etc

A private garden - with large ivy wall and small tree


The studio has a strong bohemian/alternative feel running through it, so if that is what you want, then you are in for a treat! However we cater for all tastes and styles too, so whatever you are looking for, we can help you!

We aim to make you feel as comfortable as you would be in your own home, when you visit us here at Lane Home Studios. It is a well known fact that the more comfortable you are, the better your images will be, so we will do everything possible to ensure that your experience with us is a pleasant one. No 'deer in headlights' shots here!

We also like designing and building sets as well, so if there isn't something here you want, then why don't you contact us for a chat? I'm sure we can help you and would of course, be more than happy too!

We are here because we know that all of you have amazing ideas that you are just dying to bring to life and moments that you wish to capture and we want to make that happen for as many of you as possible!

Do you want an option to shoot outside too? Well if our quaint, private, courtyard style garden doesn't get your creative juices flowing, then there is a large amount of fantastic, varied, outdoor locations to choose from, all within walking distance!

PLEASE NOTE:

We are a child and pet friendly studio.

(we aren't scared of the kettle here either and plenty of biccies, chocolate and cake are always provided)

THE STUDIO & OUR LOCATION

Lane Home Studios is located in the small, coastal village of the Isle of Grain, in Medway, Kent.

We are around a 20-30 minute drive (depending on traffic) from the nearest train station and town, which is Strood. Chatham, Gillingham and Rochester are also around that distance.

The house itself is a charming two bedroom terrace, which is south facing and has several allocated parking bays, located right outside our back gate! It is also a stones throw away from the nearest bus stop (of which there are only two in the village).

Every room has been decorated with shooting in mind! It also has some great features including a small private garden, perfect for shooting!

OUTDOOR LOCATIONS

We are so lucky to be set in a brilliant little village like this one. There really are a large number of fantastic, varied, outdoor locations all on our doors step!

A massively HUGE soldier fort located off shore (accessible when the tide is out only).
