Kids Can Achieve

Kids Can Achieve was formed in October 2002 by local parents, concerned professionals and members of the community in Harrow.

It was formed to support local children and young people whose educational, emotional, social and psychological difficulties were not being recognised. As a result of this gap in provision these children were developing complex behaviours and lacked the social and coping skills which enable them to learn, play and socialise and have normal life opportunities.

The organisation has grown rapidly and has
quickly become influential and respected
amongst both statutory and voluntary agencies
and most importantly the families they serve.
Demand for our services has increased as our profile has risen and despite our successes,
we are conscious of an urgent need to expand and develop these services further. Since
2014 we have been working in partnership with The Westminster Society and we are in
the process of a formal merger.

We now provide a wide range of innovative services for children and young people with disabilities and their families. We involve, consult and include families so that they are key decision makers in the development of our services. Our excellent service provision is reflected in our commitment to meet the
individual needs of the people we support with
dedicated trained staff. Our emphasis is on building effective and supportive partnerships with families. Providing care and support in a safe and nurturing environment is our top priority.
