Through Apprenticeships and the Study Programme we help local learners to gain vocational skills, employability skills and technical skills through a number of different industry recognised qualifications. Our mission is to develop learners’ skills to ensure they achieve their full potential to meet local employment opportunities.

Study Programme

The Study Programme is an employment focused programme that provides 16-18 year olds the opportunities to maximise their potential to progress onto further education, apprenticeships or skilled employment.

The programme prepares learners for life and work through the delivery of functional skills, employability skills, vocational qualifications and a work experience placement. Each learner has an Individual Learning Plan that is tailored to their specific needs to ensure they successfully achieve their core learning aims and leave the Study Programme with recognised qualifications, skills & experience employers are seeking.

Apprenticeships

Kettering Borough Training delivers over 25 different apprenticeship frameworks offering industry recognised qualifications at Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4 across a number of different industry and business sectors.

Apprenticeships are a fantastic way for leaners aged 16+ to gain industry recognised qualifications, experience and skills whilst getting paid. Our main aim is to promote the numerous benefits of apprenticeships to local employers and local learners.
