Due to a shortage of book fairs in Kent, Steve Marshall who used to own Pantiles Bookshop and the Secondhand Bookshop in Tunbridge Wells, set up the Orpington Book Fair in November 2015 that was very successful. He later helped his son at Goudhurst Books and Daily Grind in Goudhurst Kent, that closed in April 2017 due to poor footfall. He continues to help his son by selling at Book Fairs in Kent and Sussex, and Village Markets.
