Kells & Connor Pharmacy has been helping the people of Kells & Connor with their heath since 1982
Originally from Cullybackey, the pharmacist Gillian McCaughey studied for a pharmacy degree at Queens University followed by a year of training in community pharmacy in Coleraine, leading to the qualification as a Member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland.
The dispensary team is now joined by pharmacists Mrs Ashley Richardson and Mrs Lesley McBride who are both committed to helping our customers in all aspects of their health and are willing to spend time discussing any aspects of concern that need to be addressed, giving helpful and professional advice when required. Help is available to any customer on Smoking Cessation and the newly improved Minor Ailments Service.
Our repeat prescription ordering system is also fully computerised, so that we can keep track of when the prescription was ordered, when it was collected form surgery and if there were any problems (such as medication being disallowed by doctor), in which case will try to contact you to let you know.
If you come into the pharmacy with a regular or an acute prescription, and you wish to have any further information on your illness or your medication, we will be only to happy to print a relevant free information sheet while you wait. Alternatively, for people with Internet connections, you may simply log on to this website for all the help you could need in one place and easy to understand explanations of common illnesses.
At Kells & Connor Pharmacy we have regular friendly, helpful staff and you can be assured of an excellent level of service. Our premises built in 2006have been fully furnished to present a bright, modern look and we have a section allocated to health information to keep you informed of all the current health campaigns. Our consultation rooms are available for any private health matter that you wish to discuss with your pharmacist.
