Keep Music Live

Thorne Charity Events was born out of a freshly fuelled passion for live music. After helping plan a charity night for a friend, we caught the bug.

Having spent 2 years under the label of Thorne Charity Events, we realised that what we are now is so much more, so merging Thorne Charity Events and Keep Music Live was the obvious choice for us. It does not mean we are moving away from raising money for charity, it just means that we are bringing our 2 sets of ideals and our audiences together under one banner.

Keep Music Live, does exactly what it says on the tin, we are passionate about increasing the potential audiences for original musicians at all levels. And, it's not just the music we support, but Art as a whole, so look out for something that bit different at our events.

Whether we bring new faces to events to support a newly chosen charity, or bring familiar faces along to support a band they follow, each group will in turn benefit the other, raising awareness and support for all.

We will still be working alongside Right Up Our Street in and around Doncaster to bring even more of the arts to your doorsteps. In it's 2nd phase, Right Up Our Street is now ready to bring together all of it's achievements and spread them out into each of the areas covered. Exciting times are indeed ahead!

Our biggest event and the one we are the most proud of, is of course Something to Smile About, it's name taken from the 1st ever event we put on in Thorne. It has grown into what can only be described as a festival to watch, we are growing, and growing fast. Through our selection of bands and the great friends we have, people all across the UK are hearing about us and taking notice. In 2015 we literally had people from all 4 corners of the UK in attendance yet 2016 will be a pivotal event for us and could cement a place for Doncaster on the Festival Map!
