Having worked in schools for over 20 years Kate has first-hand experience of both the joys and the stresses of teaching, and the growing pressures placed on both our professionals and their classes in the education system.

Kate is a qualified teacher with experience from Early Years to High School, and is a respected expert in her field who has been featured on websites, newspapers and local radio stations.

Kate qualified as a therapist following a pituitary tumour in 2007 which left her with lingering health issues. She completed her training originally to keep on top of her own health but having seen the impact treatments had on her friends and family she soon realised that this was a skill she had to share. Kate went on to work as a holistic therapist for several years then she was asked to teach a relaxation lesson to the Year 6 class at her children’s primary school. The class was designed to give them some tools to help them relax before their SATs. When Kate returned to the school environment, after several years away, she was shocked by the stress levels among both the staff and students and decided to shift the focus of her business back to her first love of teaching.

Since then Kate has focused on giving teachers the support they need to keep on top of their own emotional health as well as providing resources to help them support the children in their care. She loves going into school and teaching both students and teachers.
