Kassi Ellis-Hair and Makeup Specialist

Hello! My name is Kassi Ellis and I am a Hairdresser (NVQ Level 2) and Makeup Artist specialising in Bridal.
My love affair with makeup started at a very early age and every birthday party as a child involved putting makeup on for me and all my friends.
This love of all things makeup continued and I learned about makeup application through working as a model/actress in television and print until I went to University back home in Canada. Whilst attending university I held a part time job within a cosmetic department which I then went onto running as a manager for several years. I worked with companies such as Vichy and Elizabeth Arden and Biotherm.
In 1996 I moved to the UK and spent the next 8 years working on various cosmetic counters such a Clarins, Estee Lauder and again Elizabeth Arden. I also worked on a self-employed for Virgin Vie selling makeup/skin care. In 2001 I was chosen as an Makeup Artist Ambassador for Elizabeth Arden and was lucky enough to train with world renowed British Makeup artist Mary Greenwell.
In 2010 I decided to condense my skills and go back to college to become a hairdresser as I had always loved styling hair.
This has led me to my current role of specialising in the Bridal industry which I absolutely adore. I love to work with beautiful brides making them feel the most beautiful bride on their most important day.
I will travel to the bride to their chosen venue and will consider travelling distances (small fee for travel may be required)
