Jing Yi has over 15 years experience as a table Tennis coach.
As a player, she built a successful career, finishing in 3rd place in the Chinese National Championships in 1988.
She represented Ireland at the 2003 World Championships in Paris, beating the European Number 3 to reach the last 64 stage.

Listed below are a few of Jing Yi's qualifications as a coach:

- Level 3 Coaching qualification from Canadian TTF and Level 3 from ITTA.
- Level 2 Coaching Tutor in Ireland.
- Member of UK Coaching Certificate Technical group: Co-author of the level 1-4 coaching syllabus.
- Coaching, designing, implementing and monitoring the Personal Training & Competition Programme for Na Liu in preparation for the 2012 Olympic Games.

JYG Sports is currently running training camps across the UK, and the Republic of Ireland. We also organize trips to China for intensive training camps, and can organize to bring top level Chinese practice partners to the UK/Ireland upon request.
