In 2006 I made the first step towards my dream of being a hairdresser. I still vividly remember walking into the High Street Salon, where I would start as an apprentice, and feeling overwhelmed by potential - it was at that point I knew I had made the right decision.


Fast forward 7 years, Hair by Jay quickly became the fastest growing hair stylist and extension specialist in East Midlands, prompting expansion to the West Midlands area.


The company's motto comes from my passion and outlook on hairdressing; Extended Beauty. On every occasion I aim to enhance the natural beauty of my client and create a style that suits their lifestyle. I am comfortable with suggesting what may be a better option/look/method & discussing the benefits with my clients to make sure they get the most out of the service.

I install the same hair I supply to my clients on myself! I am an advocate of hair extensions as they offer more options of self image.

Having extensions allows you to explore new styles your natural hair restricted you from previously. Furthermore, you avoid the possibility of damaging your natural hair with products, heat, bleach etc.

Extensions can be a great way to make a big impression at a celebration (birthday, wedding etc.) or simply a hassle free way of boosting your beauty and improving your self esteem.
