J R Adams currently operates 50 vehicles from its depots in Gateshead and Byker. Running 70 flat and 30 curtain-sided trailers along with 5 hiab vehicles we have one of the largest mixed fleets in the Tyne and Wear area. Our wagons operate throughout the UK and are able to service most regions on a daily basis.
We operate a modern fleet, maintained and serviced in house by our team of mechanics ensuring the wagons are as reliable and dependable as possible. Offering anything from a one off load to a full warehousing and distribution service we are capable of meeting all requirements and specifications.
Our vehicles are all fitted with the latest tracking and telematics systems meaning not only reduced CO2 emissions but also total transparency of wagon locations ensuring instant updates for our customers.
J R Adams pride itself on being able to offer an answer to any haulage problem. Whether the job is straight forward or requires a bespoke and unique solution. On our customer’s request we have designed custom trailers and wagons and have also ensured that our wagons are both Crossrail and FOR’S compliant meaning we can deliver to any site in the London area.
All vehicles are fitted with forward facing cameras and audible warning systems to ensure extra safety for the drivers and the public.
