Our students come from a wide range of experience so the two years of their course are designed to strengthen and develop an understanding of various dance techniques and make students knowledgeable about the level of work required for a future career in the performing arts industry. Students will choose a focus in dance, musical theatre or acting, to help them progress towards their preferred career path. Subjects they will study include:

Dance: Ballet, Jazz, Musical Theatre Dance, Contemporary, Urban, Tap, Body Conditioning, Tumbling and Acrobatic Skills, Choreography, Dance Improvisation, Singing for Dancers, Acting Skills

Acting: Principles of Acting, Classical Theatre, Contemporary Theatre, Film & TV Acting, Voice, Auditions for Actors, Storytelling, Movement, Singing for Actors

Musical Theatre: Singing Skills, Musical Theatre Song & Dance, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Body Conditioning, Voice

Theoretical Studies: The Healthy Performer, Performing Arts Business, Music Theory, Historical Context of the Performing Arts
