Our purpose built Primary school was opened in June 2007 with extensive, up-to-date, facilities. Despite its town centre location, the extensive grounds are attractively landscaped and stocked with hundreds of trees.
The building was named after an eminent Victorian engineer who was educated and reared in the locality. We believe that our pupils can be inspired by the success he achieved, through educational and vocational endeavour.
In addition to the statutory curriculum we provide a wide range of extra curricular activities designed to enthuse and engage.
Our school offers all pupils the opportunity to achieve and enjoy in a caring community. If you would like to come and visit please do - I'm sure you will be impressed!
