Jigsaw Adoption

Voluntary Adoption Agencies (VAAs) recruit, train and assess prospective adopters. When adopters are approved by a voluntary agency, they are then matched with children who are in the care of a Local Authority. VAAs receive fees from the local authorities covering their costs so adopters do not have to pay fees to work with VAAs. VAAs in the UK are required to register with Ofsted in order to be able to recruit and assess adopters.

At Jigsaw Adoption, we are currently in the middle of fund raising and preparing the Ofsted registration. This means that we are not yet operative as a VAA and are not yet in a position to start working with potential adopters. As soon as we are ready and have the required Ofsted registration, we will up update this site and start recruiting adopters.
