James Nathan

Since winning BBC's MasterChef in 2008, James Nathan has dedicated himself to cooking professionally. Long gone is his career as a barrister and he is now the head chef of the St Enodoc Hotel in Cornwall overlooking the beautiful Camel Estuary.

James worked under many exceptional chefs (Michel Roux Jnr, Michael Caines, Sebastian Bras, Richard Corrigans & Rick Stein) and has developed an effortless style presenting beautiful Cornish dishes that compliment his surroundings perfectly.

During the competition he showed great skill in preparing seafood and game dishes. He has continued in this vein and now has the perfect platform from which he can express his ever growing skills as a professional chef.
