In 2012 I weighed over 21 stone, I was lazy, demotivated and had both dangerously high blood pressure and high levels of cholesterol. I was a classic yo-yo dieter trying and failing to sustain any sort of long term weight loss with everything from the Cambridge to Atkins. I had to buy XXL T-shirts and baggy jeans as I thought they would conceal what was underneath. I wanted to join a gym but thought I would “get fit before I join”. The worse I felt about my weight, the more I found comfort in food. Chocolate and fizzy drinks became a staple of my daily diet usually eaten in large quantities every night. After going to my Doctors for a check up, I was told I needed to lose weight - so I did! No quick “fix” this time just healthy eating and exercise, turns out it actually works!
I have genuinely been there and done it when it comes to losing weight. I have started out going to a gym, petrified without a clue of what I was meant to do. I have had bad days where I eat everything in sight and feel rubbish about myself and life after. I know what works and what doesn’t, I know that sometimes we all need an arm around us to encourage us to keep on working towards our goals and I know sometimes we need a kick up the ass in order to keep on track.
I am extremely passionate about helping others achieve their goals and give genuine 24/7 support to all of my clients. I aim to make all personal training and group training sessions fun, challenging and rewarding helping everyone walk out of the gym feeling great!
